MidPoint Music Festival 2013

For the 2013 MidPoint Music Festival, ArtWorks designed a Boxtruck Festival for the festival's Midway, which is open to the public. They invited artists to submit designs for artistic activities to take place inside/around a boxtruck.

Shortly before this, Chase Public had done Short Order Poetry at Collective Espresso, where Scott Holzman was working. Scott wanted to join up with Short Order Poetry after seeing it in action. He'd heard about the Boxtruck Festival and pitched the idea of participating to Mike Fleisch. This would be the first large-scale Short Order Poetry that Chase Public had attempted.

Mike agreed, and ArtWorks accepted Chase Public's application. Scott helped organize a group of 30 poets to crew the boxtruck. We hung plywood boards on the side of the boxtruck, and Mike
