Chase Public is happy to present a poetry reading that we believe will be very, very fine. Hero of our local hearts, Megan Martin, and a visitor from the world of all good things, Sarah McCarry, share selections of their work with the assembled crowd.
Megan Martin //
is the author of the tiny fiction collection NEVERS (Caketrain 2014) and a book of prose poems, Sparrow & Other Eulogies (Gold Wake 2011). She teaches at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and lives in a weird house in Northside with three bratty cats.
Sarah McCarry (www.therejectionist.com / @therejectionist) //
is the author of the novels All Our Pretty Songs, Dirty Wings, and About A Girl, and the editor and publisher of the chapbook series Guillotine. Her work has been nominated for the Norton Award and shortlisted for the Tiptree award, and she is the recipient of a fellowship from the MacDowell Colony. She has written for the New York Times Book Review, Glamour, Book Riot, Tor.com, and elsewhere.
